Lois Arrechea’s work appears in galleries and private collections throughout the United States.  She primarily focuses on Southern landscapes whether traditional or abstract.  Her medium of choice is oil or acrylic on canvas.  Lois works conceptually drawing from her life experiences.  She allows the subject of each painting to evolve as she works.

Lois Arrechea has studied art at the University of Arkansas and the University of Mississippi.  She lives in Oxford, Mississippi with her husband John and is the mother of one son and two daughters.   She is a current member and former president of the Oxford Artist Guild.  Lois is also a member of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC).  Her works are shown at the Mustard Seed (Oxford, MS).
